Coastal Rocks

This photo was taken at Bailey Island, in Harpswell,Maine.

I think a lot of rocks in Maine are beautiful. Even if they're considered gems.
I especially like the ones that shimmer with Formica in them. Found anywhere but I find a lot of these rocks at the coast.
If anyone has a tip on photographing these light reflecting rocks, please share.
I have a new SLR with a wide range of lenses.
