SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND...

By Jouİo
Remember when you were young,
You shone like the sun.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Now there's a look in your eyes,
Like black holes in the sky.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
You were caught on the crossfire
Of childhood and stardom,
Blown on the steel breeze.
Come on you target for faraway laughter,
Come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!

Click HERE and you won´t regret it!

Thanks for your time...

Always appreciated...

I had to look twice today, the subject is similar but the style is a bit more contrasty, fits the title i guess.

Great exposure. How did you meter for this? Did you have to clone out any flare or did you manage to avoid it?

Nicely done anyway.

Darren: Cheers! There was a bit lens flare, but I cloned it away...Have to be careful, when shooting towards the sun....It´s not healthy for your eyes eighter...I used 35 zone evaluative metering mode.....and Cokin 121S ND Grad...

Hi, I used to live in a town on the south coast called Deal, and I went into an art shop there and got talking to the owner who´s name is Clive Metcalfe, and I remember to this day his exact words about Pink Floyd and why he left them and that was that they had "No direction" about their music and decided to do his own thing, and very sucessfuly as well, money and fame not everything,is it?

I'm using this website for 1st time and discovered your picture, so thought I'd leave these comments. I like the way the boat's direction leads you into the sunset. It reminds me of my own sunset pictures. The way you have picked out the detail within the boat is good. I'm an enthusiastic amateur turning pro, so did you need to photoshop the boat interior to bring out the detail to the extent you did ? My only criticism is that the subject matter is a little too dark for my own personal taste.
