  • Critique required for quality

This was Tripod i believe, i usually go with the theory that if i'm shooting at 50mm handheld i go with over 1/60 so at 300mm handheld i would be looking at 1/500. Yeah it was very hazy and i had took the polariser off so i was just using glass, i'm going to add another one for checking in a few days with more detail in it, i'm off to check the test shots from today. Thanks for your comments.

  • A Cotswold Village

Thankyou all, i'm constantly getting caught out with little things at the edge, i cannot believe i missed that, i think half the trouble is that i'm always so tired after proofing loads of images at the computer, more caffeine required Tongue

  • Life in the Graveyard

I rather like this, i could see this as a cover photo for a funeral directors leaflet or something, like the DOF and the flare from the sun, it all works together really well

A red squirrel how lucky, beautiful shot
    • 1 Jul 2011 5:53PM

I agree with everything thats been said, but next time your in a situation where you have bright sky like this try dialing in a stop of negative exposure to help the highlights or take in RAW and expose for the sky, hope this helps, its still a great image though.
