Reflections On The Lagoon (2)

Thanks to all for much appreciated votes, comments and viewings of Silhouettes and Reflections and earlier uploads Smile

It's a few years since Reflections On The Lagoon and I eventually got back to try and re-shoot the scene. I was a bit late arriving and just caught the less spectacular end of the steam show. They'll use a lot of super-heated steam for distilling oil at Grangemouth, so I guess that it's vented off steam that gives the sometimes spectacular plumes and clouds.
The Kinneil Lagoon is a noted bird reserve. It is separated from the Firth of Forth by a Dutch style dike. Several large culverts allow the sea water to flow in and out of the lagoon with the rising and falling tides.
