Great you are back on the scene Nicola, with another thought provoking candid. You caught the legs reflection well. There are other interesting things such as the top right picture looks like a child on a potty? The book where you can see the letter 'Ye' and 'ight' could be 'yeah right'. The first thing I noticed though was that the front tyre did not fall on any cracks.
Have you seen the work of Geoff Dyer and his book 'the ongoing momment' ? Often referred to in photography degree courses. I believe your style may have parallels.

Thanks you guys.
Robert, good guess about the book - Yeah, Right. It's a slogan Tui, a New Zealand beer company uses to promote it's products on billboards, eg "Chicks prefer boogie boarders, Yeah, Right". We as Kiwis often refer to "Yeah, Right" when joking around. The book is a collection of a lot of those sayings.
The photo was presented at the Camera Club for judging but all those books in the window proved to be a distraction so it was recommended next time I shoot something like that with only the bicycle in focus. Good point, but then one wouldn't of seen the legs walking past. Nothing is necessarily clean in photography!!
And I will put it up again in mono, thanks. In meantime, I'll check out Geoff Dyer!
Cheers

Hi Nicola, Geoff Dwyer's (apologies for previous spelling) Book was more a collection of famous photographers work than his own, infact he implies that he does not even have a camera. The pictures used are very thought provoking but not everybody's 'cup of tea'. Similarly different camera club judges will have very varied opinions of the same work.

Glad my shot provided inspiration Robert, it's been done a million+ times before probably, and now yours has provided me with the same. really enjoyed it. I must get some more shots up myself, you're leaving me way behind, grin.
been meaning to say, searched Geoff Dyer on the internet and found his book, plus several others of his. it looks a must read. thanks a lot for the referral.
