Donnybrook, Bow East London

By pikey
Different angle, on a second visit to take some more stock images for a library collection....
The contrast in lines and texture worked for me.

The shadow bottom left is not me btw, but a rooftop behind me...I kinda like it so I didn't remove it...That coupled with the fact that I couldn't be arsed ; )

Attack or heap praise....the choice is yours.

Have a good weekend...

I like the clear, crisp, sharpness of this. Lovely bold colours and lines, nice angle of view too.

An altogether great shot - lovely composition, colours etc. etc. Perhaps the top left corner is a bit dark though - polarizer?

Thanks, folks...

Matthys-Yep, an almost unavoidable trait when using front rise and a poloriser on the 24mm. Having said that, there is quite a large amount of natural shade there : )

Not Corbusier, Francis although you could be easily forgiven for thinking so. this a new development in Bow.

Cheers folks...

Great lines and shapes. Only niggle is triangular shadow on the fence which is a tad distracting and bereaks up the lines a little. Otherwise an outstanding architecture shot!

[ EDIT ] Should have read your description fully first Smile

I really like this one. The colours, lines, and nice curve make it a very nice picture. It makes me want to go and find the place.

Thanks Pikey - I'll go and take a look. It looks more Mediterranean than Bow, so I'm fascinated.

A beauty! So well done, not easy to get great shots of white buildings - just love it.
