Rework....

By pikey
Following on from yesterday's suggestions, here is a cropped version of my first City of arts and science upload...I tried various crops including cropping straight through the end of the building on the right edge as suggested by Barry (Randomrubble), but that didn't quite work for me as it appeared too condensed.

Finally settled on this, as I prefer the way it allows some space to 'breathe' on the right.

Anyhow...feel free to cast asunder. I still like the original, mind ; )

Have a good day, all...

This works too, but the original one, for me, is better, but thats just personal preference. Both images have impact.

Think it's a lot tighter now and the simple geometric lines of the buildings are much enhanced. Definitely an improvement!

I like them both too - but for me this one is more balanced than yesterday's, and the dark corner less intrusive. Amazed again at the light and the combination of shapes. Brings to mind Roger Dean's artwork.....

Hi Tim,

I like this version better, concentrates attention onto the main elements.

Beautiful colours & tones, as usual...

Glad I spotted this - what a great picture. Took a look at yesterday's version too. I like both, but prefer the first one.

This is great. Would also be nice to see a person near the entrance to the cone for scale.

reckon this is my favourite. whilst the architecture is impressive on its own, im more interested in interpretations of it and this is a really interesting shot
