Flipping between the two, there does seem to be more 'depth' with this one.

Very nicely tweaked, you haven't pushed it too far, it just has that bit more substance. Well done.
And I wish I could have managed this when I was your age!

Thank you!
Your advise was very helpful!
Hehe, I saw two of my friends having a laugh and I just thought it was a nice little picture to take
It wasn't planned at all! I just thought it was a great moment to catch!
I used a free app called camera360. I love this app, it has loads of effects that can make any picture look good, but for this image i just added a few tiny tiny details and then made it even better with your help!
My friends aren't into photography much so they find it funny how I whizz my phone or camera out every now and then to take a photo of such small things. Of course they are used to taking photos on holidays and other special events, so they don't really see things the way I do!
My dad introduced me to photography. All the big fancy cameras! I always wanted to have a go! I asked one day if I could give his big canon a go and surprisingly he handed it over! As I'm not the sort of person who asks about things and would much prefer to find things out for myself, I sat there fiddling around with it for a while pressing all the buttons! I ended up taking many random pictures that were all deleted but they were all focused. I fell in love with photography after that!
I then joined an after school club. This encouraged me however the teacher running it really didn't like me and only liked me for the photos I took, so I was knocked back a lot as she really wasn't very nice to me about my work. However, joining this club really showed me the path to follow. I then found this website and I am gradually improving (I hope)! I look back at my first few photos on here and think about how I thought they were good at the time hehe! (I think that means I'm improving and seeing things differently!)

I just realised how long this was!
It isn't often I get to talk about this stuff! None of my friends really get how I see images in almost everything! But they are still amazing people to have!

Thank you xxx
Keep smiling! Grin Tongue
