Met this cheery fisherman early in the morning and he was happy to tell all about the local catch, the one he landed - huge it was - and why he was on this part of the beach and not where all the other chaps where. All the while he was busy stringing bait (?) and tying line. When asked if he could sew or thread a needle the answer wasn't suited to mixed company, but he did think the question hilariously funny. Cod, by the way and he was using squid as bait. Pass. What struck as odd though was when I came down that night to look at the stars, yes, I know, there was the same guy, complete with head torch, still fishing. And they call me sad.......
