oil on water

By pixel_Painter
So I thought i'd try my oil on water attempt again since last time I wasn't very successful, I am uploading this image as I am reasonably pleased and at least an improvement over the last attempt, next time I need to use deeper water to knock my background out of focus more and not to agitate the oil so much so I get larger bubbles...I found a rubix pattern and saved it to my phone then laid that under my water dish (shot at F4)

Great image. What oil did you use. I experimented with this myself last week and used vegetable oil. The circles did not come out as large as yours.

I used vegetable oil, it is best not to agitate the oil too much, else the oil droplets become too small.
