Super shot Ann, my goodness you've come a long way from when I first met you. Well done, I know how hard you have worked to get shots like this.

Well done Ann. A cracking shot and as good as any on the site. I must say I do find this type of BG much better than the entirely plain. It seems to help to establish some level of location. Superb.

this is a cracking KF shot Ann Smile
I don't know what you have done of late:- camera settings etc; or is it the 300mm prime with the TC, that is totally outclassing your Sigma 500 ?

Anyway, I know that bird...seen it before with the turned up tail Wink

PS Well done again Ann Smile

I reckon you could afford a little tighter on the crop here Ann as it has lots of detail and then give it less room on the left. As the judges say, too much wasted space doing nothing.
Still though as I was stood next to you when you got this it is first class with that little lens

Superb capture, pin sharp and a wonderful light in his eye. Possibly crop a bit from the LHS? That's being picky on a top class image. Wonderful!

This must be your best yet of a the pose.

If I was to contemplate a crop I would take it off the bottom and leave most,or all, on the left....just to confuse things for you !!!!

"Still though as I was stood next to you when you got this it is first class with that little lens "

"I don't know what you have done of late:- camera settings etc; or is it the 300mm prime with the TC, that is totally outclassing your Sigma 500 ?"

So people think better kit = better images..interesting.

Great shot, I spent 3 hours the other day in a makeshift hide waiting for one to land on the spot where my camera was focused. Along it came but landed on another branch out of shot, I'll get it yet though.
