Off to War

By pluckyfilly
We were kept well entertained from arrival at 11am to mid afternoon leaving the grounds at 3 or trying to until the helicopter arrived and delayed our departure. Many thanks for all c/c's on yesterdays upload as always I am most grateful. And to think we were not that keen to attend, this turned out to be the best time/day we have had in ages, all thanks to Lillian

There were literally hundreds of participants

apologies to David (DeSilva) for changing my mind on the lead photo but taking his advice I agree it is the better shotWink

Looks like plenty of action here, Ann, and a foreboding army of men, well captured. Carol

I like the "coming towards" feel of this army - makes them look menacing Smile

You had better keep these shots safe for the future because if the government continues to cut back our armed forces in the way that they are at present this is about all we might be left with!!SadSad
Good series.
Off for a wee break at MacDoanld's, looks like a couple of beef eaters here.

Love these, Ann - great fun! I wish I had been there. It does seem a few in V1 could do with more walking and less lunch!
