Parrot

By pluckyfilly
taken at Bourton on the Water yesterday and I messed up with the best one cutting off the top of his headSad slowly I might get back into this photography larkWink
The problem using the Leica, it's great for landscape and macro but I don't think you can change the point of focus as you can with the Nikon, I will have to get back to using the DSLR

A little soft, Ann, which is a shame, but a good capture, nonetheless, they are huge birds, these macaws Smile Carol

A very colourful character caught on camera Ann, good to see you uploading again. Did you visit Greystones Farm nature reserve which is only a couple of minutes from the centre of Bourton?

"A bit soft"........I like 'em better that way.Grin

Love these big Parrots - I don't trust them though - I would not let one on my shoulder - would be scared they would bite off my ear.....that would be a big meal for it !!

Camera...horses for courses.

Popped down to Bourton after Snowshill- red hot and everyone was in the river ...it was a real holiday atmosphere.
