Superbly timed capture Ann - I prefer V2 (not so closely cropped in ) - love the way the dorsal fin of the fish protrudes beyond the beak.

Fantastic timing, Ann, what a great capture! The fish looks like a Perch, if so I bet that scratched the poor fellow's throat, as their fins are really spikey. Very well seen and taken set!

Right place, right time as you say, and opportunity well seized. I think I prefer V2, but it's close. Mind, this has given me indigestion just looking at it!

Very well timed Ann and good detail showing the Perch well where its been hooked and the guts are showing, a trait of the Cormorant in catching fish.
