By pluckyfilly
frustrating when your in a rush and you cant find the ONE image you want but here he is now, I know we dont always have time to view large or look at variants but to appreciate the difference today please please see V2 this has a feather in the picture and the main upload the feather has been removed to show sometimes it works to one's advantage, thanks for all c/c's on yesterdays upload - have a good day one and all

Without doubt cloning the feather out was perfect. It did as its supposed to do and really enhanced the image. Spot on Ann.

I agree with the other comments that have been made, no upload due to decorating bedroom/study. so I am having to use Christines Laptop which have no images on.

V1 Ann without the feather and what ever you did to brighten the image in V1 as the colour is so much brighter, if thats what Photo Shop can do to an image maybe I will have to think about getting it.

Yes, #1 is brighter Ann and the feather removal is good but you have brightened the whole image and this has made the reflections on the water look 'blown'. IMHO it would have been better to selectively apply the brightness to the duck only.
Regards, Geoff.
Great shots, well done.

Grin this little birdie always make me smile, they have such a curious or suprised expression on their little faces. Great shot.

A cracking shot of this male tufted duck, the detail in the plumage is immaculate. Version 1 looks so much better with the removal of the feather

The clone tool works very well when used sympathetically as in this shot. No. 1 version for me Ann, very well edited.
