Wedding by XxPaulxX
Dear God man! From your thread I had thought you had pixels glowing all over the place with Noise and bad lighting.
This is a respectable first attempt at a wedding. If the others are similar to this, I do not think your friend will have much to complain about given your not a Pro and it's your first wedding.
Points observed:
50mm prime is good as is a fast fixed aperture.
Would experiment with using 70-200mm in the church as well. Blow out background wide open and close crops of B&G.
Never shoot in jpg for something this important or your being paid for. RAW every time.
If Noise issues ensure your not deliberately underexposing which augments the noise issue.
Well done

Last light by PMeldrum
Hi Andy,
Yes it was. I agree it looks dark and need to get to grips with Levels and Curves to bring out some of the detail!
Thanks for your advice

However the shadow on the nose in Variant 2 attracts too much attention and needs lightening slightly. IMHO
