On the walkway

By PMWilliams
So pleased with all the comments, votes and awards on my last upload,GrinGrin

Special thanks to HarrietH, freedriv082000, CliffGreen, Tish1, DavesWork, Mommablue, Irishkate and PhillG,

This image is on the Walkway itself and I found it hard getting all the angles to work, the slats, verticle railings, horizon, I'd get one straight and another would be off, would have preferred the angles of the bridge on the corners to have been in exactly the same position on either side.

I like this one better than the previous shot. This gives a purpose for the structure . . and leads the eye into the scene. (Is that Rathlin Island in the distance?) Your adjustments look good and the lack of obvious distortion is a great advert for that lens.

Beautifully moody image Patricia - verticals look absolutely fine.
I love the frothy whites of the crashing waves at right end of the walkway.
Strange I don't remember ever seeing images of this before yours.

Thank you everyone so much GrinGrinGrinGrin all the comments and awards mean a lot ! Yes George, its Rathlin in the background and the light to the right on the image is one of there 3 lighthouses. Kate if your ever looking on the Irish Landscape Photographers page on Facebook, there will be lots of images of the footbridge, some before it was wrecked in a storm and the now new oneGrinGrin
