A lovely feathering effect on the fireworks, and again the reflections look good.

We were vey close Smile. Most of the fireworks were across the lake just the odd one on the little outcrop.

Not usually keen on firework shots but this has a very appealing look.As has been said I think it is the feathery appearance of the fireworks that make it.The reflections help make a good composition too.

All I know is it's down to a balance between light intake and shutter speed... ie, how to get a fast one when it's dark! You very nearly had this one though, and it still makes a pretty image. So well caught!

Just having another look: this time I am apprieciating the timing here. I have tried this, and seemed to miss the good bits every time!!
