A lovely shot and if you can take the wonderful shots you have of butterflies then birds should be no probs. Everyone has told me to make perches for them near the feeders so that's what I'm trying.

Beautiful shot, beautifully shot! Perhaps I would have cropped the black bar off the bottom but that's just my opinion. Smile

Thanks bub good point. Although its actually not a black bar it's the shadow of the top lip of the fence.

We had a baby Robin visiting our garden, looked just like this one. I used to feed it sultanas from my hand.

Nice and fluffy well captured, good detail. Agree with just slightly cropping the bottom.

Agree about the crop at the bottom. Other than that a nice shot. The fact that the robin has a different look (fluffy) makes it better than the 'normal shot'.

lovely character capture, guddun.
I think the only improvement this needs is a tighter crop: remove all the green on the right, all the black on the bottom and take about 1/2 the top away, I've just been fiddling about wiv index cards and masking tape on me monitorSmile

You havenít had any difficulty with this shot, itís a very good capture of this little beauty, as I know small birds are always twitching youíve done well, also its in a very pleasing scene with the bright green contrasting with his breast, well seen and taken, Adrian
