All things considered, a very pleasing shot. If I'd been running after this one for an hour, I'd have been in no fit state to take a photo. It's usually worth the effort though. Clive. click

It's a lovely shot, would be ideal if the background was less in focus.

I've also tried this type of shot, and you have to take the background as it comes as the chaser doesn't stay still.

It's a very commendable shot, and you've done extremely well, regards Nick

Well I think it's bloody good Paula, even though it isn't a butterfly OR a Moth.

Nicely Composed...!

A fraction sharper at the head would've made this an outstanding capture as so many other elements are right.

We don't have these here so I'm relying on you to keep chasing them... lol.

All the Best.

You should be pleased with this.Good detail and colour.
Don't chase them - find a regular perching place and wait for it to come to you.

Well done shot, loads a detail and colour.

Shot a darter last summer but with a 50mm and tubes, I sat for ages to wait on it landing and boy was it great when it did.

Being able to actually touch it's wings and have it ignore you is strange feeling.

All the best Gareth

Beautiful capture, so much detail in the wings. Mum (GillyB) and I have been thinking of going to Tandle Hill at some point so it's great to know it might be worth a visit.
