Does anybody know the real meaning of what digital art is? I am confused. If I take a picture and totally change it from the way it looked digitally, is this digital art? Or, Is digital art something you start from scratch in Photoshop and compose from the beginning?

For me, it's either!

Taken from "Definition Of Digital Art" (Google)

Quote: Digital art can be purely computer-generated (such as fractals and algorithmic art) or taken from other sources, such as a scanned photograph or an image drawn using vector graphics software using a mouse or graphics tablet.
