Hi all,

I've been playing with a different type of photography recently. I've been trying to add a bit of fine art to my portfolio. Its difficult but I like challenging myself.

I'm not sure this will go down well here but I love the mood of it and the composition, I hope you do to. It was an incredibly dynamic day ontop of the mountin. I think this photo helps convey that feeling.

Anyway, I'm probably just rambling on now. Thanks for taking the time to look.

It works for me. Combination of crisp, clean line (rising diagonal - that's positive, optimistic), contrasting with cotton wool clouds, and a clear path to follow into the frame. No need for frills, keep it simple.

Agreed, but personally i'd have probably tried to make the path more distinct from the surrounding tones.

Very atmospheric. That sky is great and the composition is spot on for me.

Personally I love it - not sure why this hasn't got more votes when a picture of a muddy puddle on a path seems to get lots of votes.
