a dark flame

By annettep38
This is a sunflower without any manipulation, v2 has had a bit of Nik's Colour. for Kate and her kind award

It is specially for all of you who might get the hump with me, for my forced absence. Complaints to please.. Thank you SFR for cutting me off from any communication with my friends, my favourite photo site and my clients.

So I will *try* to do the rounds and click but I'm supposed to do my work here as well.

v2 ( the nikked one) is simply a crop of v1 that has been filtered a bit.

Well done, Annette.
Pleased you've made it in spite of your provider.
V1 for me - a bit of expertise to get that without manipulation.

Have you pulled your carrots yet?

The flame colour against the dark centre make for a dramatic contrast, and you've presented it so well. To me, the sunflower looks like it's giving itself a big hug, then I look again and it's being a bit shy.......funny farm awaits.

Even that Sunflower in V1 appears to be pleading for understanding re your Internet problems! It's quite a shock to the system when there's no connection as I well know! Great colours and details in these.

I prefer the close up in V2 - don't know why I find the light leaves
off putting - everybody else loves V1 as it is.
The flamed look is so different from those bright sunny images.
