I like the idea behind this shot. Nicely done, like the patterns formed

Now I see how they stay put. A great bunch of Love rings.
Interesting angle of perspective, Marian. Creates tension in this image where there would not otherwise be.

Thanks for the comments and votes!
I took this picture this afternoon outside the Central University of Venezuela (Universidad Central de Venezuela in Spanish). This lady covered an old umbrella with gray felt (I guess it used to be black but the sun here is very intense) and somehow managed to hook all this colorful, shiny Love Rings to it.
I love diagonals, so the angle was perfect to my eye. SmileSmile
I hope this qualifies for Shadow Saturday!Grin
Love? I love it, love. Love , Si.

hehe, I have an anecdote about transposing adjectives and nouns:

Once, when I was living in Lawrence (Kansas), I went to a large supermarket called Target, late at night, about 10 pm. It was Summer and I was sick of mosquitoes and all kinds of insects that infest the air during that season in the American Midwest. I didn't know the store well, so I asked a young man that was stocking the shelves:
- Hi! I am looking for the killer bug, I cannot find it! Do you know where the killer bug is?
And the man looked at men with eyes wide open saying:
-I don't know ma'am I am new here.
When I told my friend that I didn't know what was wrong with that man that looked so scared she had to sit down to laugh at me.
SO: Saturday Shadows is!

Marian, A really nice subject and composition. I like that there are some coloured rings within the image and the way the light reflects off some of them Smile
