Painted

V2: In B&W

I am in need of your honest opinion. I need to pick three pictures and I am thinking it could be from my Flowers Series. If you let me know which ones would you choose (if you were invited to a collective Smile) I will always thank you for your help.
Please don't leave the mono version out of the list, I want to take at least one in B&W.
Thank you!
Marian

One of them should be "Happy Monday, then "metallica" and either "Inspiration" or this one would be my choice, Marian.

Will have a look and get back by PM, Marian.
This is very good in mono and lovely in colour.

I like both here, Marian, but slightly prefer the colour version.

'In Penumbra' ( WinkGrin )
'Metallica'
'Sweet'

...no hesitation.

Since those stamen look like painted nails - why not colour pop the 'fingers' and keep the rest in mono?
Not sure if you have photoshop or elements? I do like the colour if I had to choose between these two.

Oh Katie, that would be neat! I do not have either of those programs I have been editing with Picasa since July. I recently purchased Lightroom5 but haven't had time to fiddle with it yet.
I promise I will try your suggestion.

I'd go for "Inspiration", "Sweet" and "Veils" - keepign roses as a theme, and still having soem considerable variety. And a B/W shot!

V1 of this shot, for me, is the better.

Well this is a good start....

Smooth and rich images. Colour version particularly lovely, Marian.
My suggestions (with a spare) would be Veils, In Penumbra, Swirls and Sweet. Smile

I like both but for me there is something about the mono version that captures the beauty of the flower just alittle bit more
