I was ready to travel to Bogota but I couldn't find an affordable plane ticket. I might go to the plains of Barinas (Venezuela) later, closer to Christmas break.

I like the sequence interrupted by that rogue spike...it doesn't belong there, yet that's what makes this image interesting.

A scary looking plant, Marian. Those thorns look like metal.
And I wonder why so many are describing it as an "abstract."??? .....It isn't. It's representational. It's thorns.

Hello Alan! The metal appearance comes out with the desaturation. It is a strong "aloe-type" of leaf. You can see another one in the background.
