V1: Looking West to downtown Caracas. Main government's offices, Bolivar's Square and the Cathedral are in this part of the city.
V2: These are the antennae that prevented me from taking a panoramic of that side of the city. I will take more panoramic pics when I go up the East Tower. I was told that I will have to use a hard hat, YAY! I will take a self-portrait of course.
One way to tell the existence of a shanty town is to look for a"thin mesh" on the hills. The density is high so the hills look white. The older the slum the greener it becomes, so you will see some hills almost white as compared to the hill where San Agustin is located.
