Brilliant work, original and perfectly processed congrats on the HC, more than deserves it, in fact maybe the editors should have given it EC imho, but hey its ok, im sure a little to the left would clinch it next timeWink

  • Bridge over the Windrush

Sorry, lighting is flat, the sky is burnt out taking most of the trees details with it too Sad
Do what achiever wales suggests or/and get yourself a set of ND grads to keep the sky details, I'm sorry but with all the magazines/internet coverage photography gets these days its easy to get the basics correct at this level.

Nice Autumn shooting, the light in the trees is very nice, and the composition is not bad, not sure if my monitor is the problem but the white water looks blown out on it. Also, personally I think the framing is too tight and the bridge should have much more breathing space, other than those couple of flaws its not too bad

What a good shot, love the lighting and pose, great expression, super sexy and slim model, my only nit pick would be not to have cut off her legs so we could see more of that great looking body Wink

  • White Buckle

This is a great shot, sharp, full of details and really looks good in black and white, but I don't understand how these type of unoriginal shots keep getting all the awards? Dont get me wrong its a great shot, but then people put the same shot up but move to the left or right a couple of feet or do a portrait version instead of a landscape one and get another award? Beats me lol

I do like the sharpness and details you have managed to shoot here Phil, even though the light was not to good, you have made the most of what you saw.so well played for that.

Nice shot, but the sky is over exposed an ND filter would help to reduce over bright areas in your shots
