a kind of magic...
the cracking paint effect gives an antique look that suits the subject well, but what I like most, apart from this dynamic composition, is this intriguing red blurred tint that wonderfully contrasts with the unbalanced solstice light / shadow of the image
a kind of magic...

Great image; love the effect here with the soft focus and the cracking giving a great feel

P.S. If I'm allowed to be humorous about your valentine's gift, then I'd have to say that I've never been a fan of padded shoulders even when not taken this far Smile

Beautiful creative work Proz. I like that 'cracked egg' effect. You know what I got for valentine's day? No, and nor do I! Sad

A free-association title, eh? Why not? after all,

"What's in a name? A rose
By any other name would smell as sweet."

I did get a Valentine card... Proof that human intelligence is evolving slowly...
Lovely shot, lovely editing. But be careful about free-association titles, I'm not sure how many psychoanalysts there are on the site...
