Lazy,Hazy Dayz

By PrunellaCara
Ginge came to visit the other day. He tends to take fright and run away when he sees me, so I had to shoot through the window. I'm also trying to wean myself off 'Auto' and get into Av mode among other things, so my time has been taken up with trial and error [well - it always is anyway!] practise.
I went over the Pond again this morning - I knew it was a mistake in this bright sunshine as I couldn't see a thing [no viewfinder]. My Stylus has a viewfinder but I need the practice with the Sony. So most of the pics are a bit disastrous with heads missing etc. But I did meet a lot of people walking their dogs and feeding the wildlife and had long chats with a couple of them - oh bliss!
Although I haven't been posting here the last few days, I've really enjoyed viewing all your lovely images, they are my window on your world!

One chilled-out moggie, Eileen. What a delightful picture! Love the play of light and shadows on him. We can all take a lesson from that pose! Smile)
All the best,
Dave Wink
(P.S Exif says white balance on manual? Perhaps if it is, try leaving it on 'auto' maybe).

I'm looking for a life like that Eileen, just sleeping in the sun.......'they are my window on your world!' not sure you would want a window on my world given the disasters I've just had trying to photograph inside Sheffield Cathedral, think I should go back to Auto.

I find V2 is better.. It adds more to a simple photograph.. the two stone figures there as though put a stamp of approval on the overall mood of resignation and lack of interest.. there's a greater story..

Well, Ginge is managing to do something that eludes me so often these days.
Lovely shot of this sleepy moggie.
