Coronation Street: The Tour 2

By TrevBatWCC
At the other end of Coronation Street is the famous Rovers Return Inn, which stands on the corner and joining with Rosamund Street. Although all the buildings are real, including the viaduct over Rosamund Street, the 'street' beyond the viaduct in V2 is actually a very large photograph on a wall! The small archway under the graffiti leads to the back yards of the pub and the houses.
I usually upload to EPZ every couple of days, but on Friday I've got a hospital appointment to have a follow-up colonoscopy, as polyps were found when I had it done in June of last year, so this will be my last until after then. Not exactly looking forward to it, it's not the most pleasant thing having your inside probed with a camera! Sad

Single Raw images processed in Adobe Camera Raw 7, tweaked in Photomatix Pro 4 and Photoshop Elements 11.

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

A nice reportage, trev. That trompe l'oeil painted street comes over very well in V2.
Hope your little procedure goes well and look forward to your return.

An excellent set processed in your own inimitable style.

Good luck with the colonoscopy. As both Garrath and my mother have survived colon cancer I can tell you from their experiences that the discomfort is worth it. Stay well Trev.

Such an interesting set - and an interesting set of photos, too, Trev!Smile
I did wonder whether V2 was 'real'.
All the best for your hospital visit.

It must feel strange wandering around the set, actually being there.
The street photograph beyond the arch is very well done, I wouldn't have known had you not said.

I found my colonoscopies fascinating (sorry) and watched everything on a screen. The worst part for me was the awful liquid you have to take beforehandTongue!
