Thanks for letting me know this shot was taken at a car show, but it really doesn't matter because the abstract form you come up with is rather pleasing. The reflection of the photographer and the bit of reality seen on the right remind me of a typical practice in Renaissance painting, though, naturally, your shot is essentially a modern abstract view. The overall blue cast rather adds to the abstraction, though I am curious about its source since this is a daylight shot. Was the camera's White Balanced fooled by the reflections? Regardless though, I really appreciate your achievement (camera settings and composition). Regards,
Paul
A great capture that just made me look to try and work out what it was.

Thanks for your comments - all greatly appreciated, and especially to Paul for taking the time to provide an in depth view of what he sees. All very helpful learning tools.
Paul, I suspect as you do, that the white balance was fooled, and was pleased that it occurred because of the blue cast over the warmer tones. Don't know what really caused it.
marshfam19, if you were unable to figure out what this is, it's a side view mirror (left side of the image) with the attaching arm and connector attached to the window frame to the right/center.
