I'm not much into portrait photography, but my wife (for 45 yrs) was standing by a window with nice soft light - producing this image. I adjusted the levels a tad in GIMP to give it a slight high key.

RLF has said it first.

A distinguished and rather beautiful portrait of a lovely woman. She does not look like she could possibly have been married for 45 years.

Hi dudler It's true - we were married in 1967. I was 22, she was 20 years old. She often gets mistaken for my 42 yr old daughter's big sister. Unfortunately, that never happens to me.

Thanks taggart - my wife does not have patience with me when it comes to photographing her so the window was the only light source and she was pretty unaware - that's why I used the portrait setting.
