Sand people in a storm

Thank you for the comments and votes on my previous image. This one took a little longer, around 20 hours to complete. The background came from one of my shots in the Teide National Park, here in Tenerife. The image came to almost 1 GB, so it will give you some idea of the amount of layers and work that went into it. Hope you like it.

A super image well done.

At first I thought the background rock was Agaltha Peak near Monument Valley! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agathla_Peak

I can imagine how much work went into this! I think it works really well all round. Nice blending and integration of the different layers.

I think the only bit that my eyes keep going to is the white dotty bits on the distant mountain ... what are those? Are they windows of some kind? I can't work out whether I find them distracting or an important part of the overall mystery and story of the rest of the image!
