Bali Daybreak

Bali Daybreak by GeorgeMSmith

Nice shot George - just saw it as a Featured E2 Photo - Cheers Andy

Nice shot Carsten - great use of the fence in the foreground - diagonal paths in bright light throughout the image work well and the position of the tower and church are perfect - good example of classic composition - Cheers Andy

UNCOVERED FACE by clicknimagine

Works for me - Nice mono tones ,patterns and subject position - Andy

[amsterdam III]

[amsterdam III] by focused-photography

Great night shot - Carsten - only comment I have is that my focus leads to the 2 towers in the center of the image - sadly one of them has a post right in the middle of the clock - perhaps a fractional change of position would have solved this - Cheers Andy

Ghost by EllieEdge

Tough one Ellie I am not sure I like the dark top right corner as it tends to draw me away from the subject this is highlighted by the lines created by the windows we are all different but for me you need to maintain a focus on your main subject or perhaps the window was it for you really not sure post a mod to see what you thing Cheers Andy

The Mask

The Mask by caotiquemind

Love it - classical - Andy

Relax by gillbat

Great composition - the use of the chair to create a border shape and background interest. This together with the angle of the subject - works a treat - Cheers Andy

LAST STEP by clicknimagine

Really nice image - well put together - I may have done a slightly different crop to remove the very top step above her as I find the brightness drags my eye from the subject to that corner. Possibly a little more bounce (detail) would also lift it just a tad. Great effort - Well Done - Andy

Perhaps you can add the original as a variation. - Nice Image - Andy

Teenage Portrait

Teenage Portrait by paul.melling

Like the image and the comp - good shot - andy

THE HAWKER by clicknimagine

Sorry - not really happening for me - too central on the eyes and far too much of the head gear - I know what you are trying to portray but if the carrier of goods was the object them you needed a much higher camera angle all that a side!! - a bit of a twist, a crop and a bit of details enhancement and WOW nice image, - Cheers Andy

HOLI 2 (making of holi powder)

HOLI 2 (making of holi powder) by clicknimagine

Quote: Quote:I find the foot in the background a bit distracting thoughThat was my first thought I love the detail in the hand and the low angle. the contrast of colour the point of focus, but that foot gets in the way. Although I guess it gives a notion that the shot is possibly on the floor and not a bench. Try toning this down to see if it improves the shot.

- Totally agree with Pete's comment - for me I would remove it completely DOF and colour hint in the shot is excellent Cheers Andy

Nice use of the light but I believe you can extract a lot more from the image with some additional processing. - Andy

Simply a fantastic portfolio - You are in a class of your own and right up with the best I have seen in the past 45 years or for that matter anywhere on the net.

It is a previlage seeing your work - good luck with your career.
