Tucked up for the night

By Railcam
Black Five 5407 and "Crab" 42765 at rest in the East Lancs Railway yard at Bury, Buckley Wells. The lighting was purely from the lights on the front of the depot and in the yard.

There were all colour temperatures (yellow from sodium lamps, green off mercury lamps etc) which I have attempted to correct using Lightroom.

The lighting illustrates the workings of the wheels etc, to great effect.

Thank you for your comments. It was taken at the end of a Steam Gala day but it was not an arranged photographers' night shoot. Once locos had stopped moving I was allowed to wander about and get my shots. Before serious H&S restrictions intervened we were allowed to use our common sense.
