Silence of Twilight

By rajsaha001
It was day of our return from a tour. But there was still a site seen left. And that was this lake. It was a beautiful site. The whole lake based on a mountain surrounded by hills on all sides. We took a boat and roamed all around the lake. It was when we were retuning from the lake my eyes captured this exquisite moment and I didn't lose a moment to take a quick snap.

What a beautiful scene - this image must bring back many very happy memories! I like the way you've caught the mountains in the background with your friends in the foreground. Well seen and caught.

well you have captured it nicely. it is a good shot no doubt about it. as you want to know more, i am giving you some point as under:-

1. look at the image carefully, the water, the mountain, the sky and the foreground, now can we say there is a lot of peace and, if we can say that, again look at the crowd, there are so many people some on the boat and some on the land, so can we say now it is contradictory.
if possible try to avoid the crowd at the time of shooting, if not, at least at the time of processing at the digital dark room. again not exclude every one you may include one(best) or two(at the most) but not more than that.

2. as we can see the lighting is low there probably for the cloud, in such a situation the output image always comes with underexposure . so set your exposure compensation(dslr) or exp. balance at the shooting mode(compact) to a positive figure so that there is enough brightness for the shot. or at least do some work with your software after the shot.

well obviously a vote to your work and tell me the name of the place.

This is a fine shot all I would do to enhance it further is to crop out some of the foreground - whatever you do leave the people in you then have the rule of thirds in exactly the right place and the evening light adds mystery to the image - well done a great shot believe me and you have a great PF to - superb work

Hi Raj and a belated welcome to EPZ and the Junior Gallery from me.

Just to be different, I really like the contradiction of the crowded boat and the serenity of the scene.

Makes me feel like it's something they are all looking for, and something that you found! Smile
