Another boring night on TV

Why is Saturday night entertainment so poor on TV, ah well I suppose it gives me another excuse to trawl through my picture library.
I found two black and white conversions, one I posted in the Gallery, the second shot is here for your enjoyment. It is one of my favourites.

It was one of two taken at Malcesine on Lake Garda, the first was of the lake and the garden. As I stood there mentally composing and evaluating other possible shots this boat motored slowly into view. I waited till it fitted into the gap on the horizon and took the shot.

I was the only person there to witness and record the moment, I suppose that is something that drives all photographers, and how sweet that moment is.
