Having spent the last few days indoors and a sleepless night followed by a sleep filled morning I took myself out this afternoon. First call was at a supermarket to return a music centre that did not perform as well as the advertising on the box. Whilst there I had a search for some Caviar, not my usual purchase , but essential for my Alphabet Soup challenge. The question was would the orange coloured food retailer stock such an item, ok it is in a relatively affluent area, a look at the fish counter, nothing, the deli, nothing, the tinned fish shelves, Bingo. It appears that John West will stop at nothing to satisfy his customers., though I have to admit that Black Lumpfish Caviar sounds less attractive than Beluga, but then, hey, I'm an old skinflint.
Then a troll round various retail parks and I found what I was looking for in the music centre department. By the time I came out with my purchase the light was fading and the golden hour was upon me, hence today's offering of 'Retail Therapy', the smoke and steam in the background are from the local incinerator plant. Quite ironic really as I had promised myself to cut back on the spending and that has gone up in smoke too!
