I spent some time today chatting to Lucy, my friend's daughter, about her photography and the course she has just started. She was given an assignment to shoot human interaction using a 50 mm prime lens and I have to say I was impressed with the results she had achieved. One group she had a shoot with were local singers rehearsing and having a tea break. Using a high ISO and no flash she had managed to capture some magic moments and had obviously not intruded with the camera. I was quite jealous as I would not have the nerve to do what she did.
It was a real pleasure to give her advice and to talk about her pictures as she is so enthusiatic. Her father and I were also the subject for her camera as we chatted over a cup of tea.
My reward was a shot of her hands for the Weekly Black and White Challenge,
