Two days on the tiles

Not bad for a chap of my age though it did bring me to my knees. Who would have thought it would take that long to tile a small kitchen. Still job done though as a consequence no camera action. I shall just have to reveal my monopod creation that I have been trialling prior to seeking an international manufacturing deal. Next step? an appearance on Dragons Den with all five dragons making me incredible offers.85348_1472506693.jpg
Ok so perhaps not but it did work quite well with static subjects and cost nothing.

Oh and I did manage to get this shot of a MiG 15, an aircraft I first learnt about in the ATC at school when I was 15.

This particular aircraft saw service with the polish Air Force and is now operated by the Norwegian Air Force Historical Squadron. The 'Red 18' mark refers to Yuri Gregarin who flew A MiG 15 before becoming an astronaut.

Taking the plunge

At the recent Clacton Air show the Army parachute display team dropped in. Conditions were bright with a cloudless sky but hazy which made photography tricky as regards focus and exposure. Add to that the distance between the display and myself meant...

One down, two to go?

Went for a walk with the camera today in an Essex countryside village whilst my lovely lady was singing at a birthday party in the village hall. I did not know what the place was like except that there was a pub so all looked fine. My first impress...
