Great Crested Grebe

Thanks to all who viewed and commented on yesterdays. It's always appreciated!
Keeping the wildlife theme going this is a Juvenile GCG. I've watched these grow through the year and this one is now adult sized. It's still got it stripes though and will keep them for a little while yet. They're at the stage now were they are learning to hunt and are diving under after their parents. Not seen them catch anything yet.
A good tip for snapping these birds is watch where they go. They always move in a figure eight pattern so get yourself hidden away on part of the route and sure enough they will come back your way sooner or later!
