lower elkstone II

By rangerpaul
Different perspective to the previous upload. This one concentrates more on the farm house, or what's left of it!
I really liked all the twisted timbers and the colours of the moss growing over the stones that once were the walls of this place. You can still see some of the white paint that was on the interior wall.
If you ever visit this place you'll see what a shame it is this building has fallen into such disrepair.
Thanks again for taking the time to stop by. A little glance large might be worth it. It always looks bigger Wink
Paul

This is a smashing shot - fantastic range of autumn colours and also a lovely collection of shapes to retain the interest - a master at work...

Best wishes

You're right about it being worth a look at the bigger version as it really shows off the level of detail and light

Well, you're right, it does look bigger!
Cracker of an image Paul, love the foreground moss on the rocks and the timbers strewn about. Also like the color of the bricks and how the tones of the leaves echo the color.

Very colourful shot Paul. The moss growing over the wood and bricks and the rich brick colours work well with the Autumn leaves on the trees in the distance.
Lovely composition

This is just superb Paul and grabs you straight away; great composition and detail front to back and such a beautiful scene from the rubble. But it's the depth and the range of colours that really makes this for me and in awe that you get this from the jpeg.
The large version is definitely bigger Smile and well worth a look

Not sure how I missed both this image or yesterdays. Both excellent images though this one is my favorite of the two. Love the detail in the pile of debris.
