I have no idea how you do it! Brilliant and never a view of a spider you are ever likely to see on a regular basis. But what gets me is not only the twisted, weird and frankly fantastic points of view from your work, but its also that its shot brilliantly. Another utterly brilliant different shot......so much better from the mundane and frankly routine and boring macro shot you see a lot of.....genius!

Cracking shot though....love the 'hairy' detail, & the way the focusing has isolated the legs from the body....fascinating & 1st class !!

Many Thanx JB & Nik. You're very kind... This was a real tricky shot. I keep and observe most of rhe bugs I photograph. This is the common house spider's defensive posture. So when I had the lighting set up, I tipped him out the jar and coxed him with a cocktail stick. It was a bugger cos he kept running off and he was a big, scary, hairy one ! Tongue
