Like the look of this although it looks like it will hurt, not sure about the hand in the foreground, at times t adds interest and others I'm not sure. But it has got me looking at it so must be a good thing.

Like the timing and pov in this one, think it would be better with out the hand.

I would have called it "What Happened Next...." Excellent shot, superbly timed. I think the hand would have worked better if there was more of the man's body showing, even just a third. As it is there is just a loose hand (almost godlike!) hanging from the sky. It doesn't spoil the shot becuase it's such a good action/sport shot in the first place.

This is really good, and not just for the lighting and action. Look closely. Look at the contrast in reaction from the crowd. On the right is a person (woman?) in what appears to be a scream of encouragement, a yell of blood-lust. Then in the middle of the adjacent ringside is a young girl, hands to face in horror. What a statement.

Can I suggest a crop? I would take out everything on the left up to the cub scout boy/two women talking. The young girl and screaming woman are key players in this image so the bigger the better.

Many Thanx for all your comments :o)
...I have pondered much over 'the hand', I could paint it out... and I know it's compositionally strange but I decided it adds a little quirky intrigue. It would have been perfect if the Ref's whistle had been hanging down from it...
And Snowjunkie, I also appreciate your comments on the crowd, which I might be able to bring out a bit more... but the reason I didn't go for a crop similar to what you suggested, which would also remove said hand, is because I didn't want the wrestler central in the comp...

Christmas cheer to all

Fatastic timing and great composition. B&W does it justice. Made me smile!
