I like it. I do agree that it does have the tilt that Colleen mentioned, but all in all, it's brilliant!

What are you using for processing?

Newborn by Jenny-D

I love it!

It really makes me wish my 10 month old was still that small.

Very nice execution! I really like the perceived concept behind it.

I have to admit that I really like how this shot was exposed and processed. The silhouettes of the foreground and mountains work well to frame the rest of the piece. Very well done Smile

Beautiful capture. Very nicely done Smile

I almost disagree with Karen. To me, this screams abstract, on the pretense that it took me a moment to fully understand what it was. Outside of that though, this piece is absolutely brilliant. On first look, I thought it was a B&W, but I saw little bits of colour, which proved me wrong. Very well done!

Loch Linnhe 3

Loch Linnhe 3 by Irishkate

Very well done and extremely beautiful.

Rear by kaybee

I agree...while granted, the rear is the main focus point, the hands do give the shot a level of balance and fluidity. I personally prefer the original, compared to the edit.

Great shot. It looks like something I would have taken, though in perspective and personal taste, I would have contrasted it a tad more.

After stumbleing on your portfolio, I've looked at most of what you have in here and visited your website. I think I found a new "hero" of sorts, as much of my time with photography is spent in photoshop doing manipulation work, rather than having a more traditional approach to it all.

I like your style. It's moody and fun, giving me the same kind of feeling of awe and inspiration as I had when I first was introduced to Timothy Lantz and Jim DiVitale's work.
