Obviously a Greenwaldia identia obscura from the planet slimerion. The seventh planet in the Micropean star system....LOL!

Think you'll find that it's the lesser known one (obscura obscura) - only found on the sixth planet, Patrick!

Is the red bit a compound eye? Looks kind of fishy. Whatever, it makes a good abstract! Smile

Well its not the mind's eye (I like that) nor Greenwaldia identia obscura (i am still looking for that) but the eye of a common old greenfly. I will put up his or her portrait next. Thanks for your comments and for taking part in a bit of fun. Happy snapping - Robert
