A summer's day on Buttermere ! ! !

By reaper4252
Buttermere on a decidedly rubbish day in July 2011
4 out of 7 poor days that week, didn't do much better in September
What can you do apart from open the curtains, see what it's like and then just get on with it.....

A rubbish day maybe, but you captured some lovely green hues, and a well-balanced composition. And you weren't tempted to 'long-expose' the water. Nicely done.

Thanks for that and didn't go for 'long' water for 2 reasons...1 no tripod, 2 not over keen on it....gets pushed too much

A very nicely composed and balanced shot from one of my favourite spots in the Lakes, Dave, and you have made the best of the indifferent weather.
Good composition with the fence leading you into the water. Well done. WesternRed.
