I find letterboxes fascinating-sad though that may seem, they are everywhere from the remotest field to city centres. They may become a thing of the past too so, this is my way of capturing a little bit of Britain.

A nice composition. may have benefits from using a CP filter to enhance the colours still further. nice image though

Hi, on looking through your portfolio I see you have a letterbox, as you say the red against a good backgroud makes a good interesting picture as well as historic. NorahF

Original shot - as you say there is something quite nostaligic about the letterbox and the hedgerow
