Thanks. That's a good point, and one I debated for a while. His 'face' is turned out of the frame, but his eye is looking in. I eventually chose this crop because it meant I didn't have to clone out a large plant immediately to his left (our right).

have you boosted the saturation? grass looks a bit over green on my monitor (which could be at fault, of course).

the stones were what drew me to the location when scouting. When I visited a couple of days earlier the semicircle didn't touch the shore on the right hand side - it was being used to keep a watermelon cool. Some kind soul had finished it off by the time I returned.
